A few photos from our trip to Burkholter's
Quarry on 7-16-2005. Kerry Matt did an excellent job of
setting the stage for this dig with an amazing display of
finds from Burkholter's dating back to his teen years. Kerry
helped all in attendance get the lay of the land in this
fine quarry.



In March 2005 nine members of our club took a trip to the
Spruce Pine area of North Carolina, and to an amethyst mine
in Jackson Crossroads, Georgia. Here are some of the photos.
